El siniestro fue controlado por personal de Protecci\u00f3n Civil y Bomberos con apoyo de los Bomberos Voluntarios, evitando que las llamas se propagaran a m\u00e1s estructuras y representaran un mayor riesgo para la poblaci\u00f3n y comercios cercanos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p3 wp-block-paragraph\">La exalcaldesa de Manzanillo, Griselda Mart\u00ednez Mart\u00ednez, reaccion\u00f3 al hecho en sus redes sociales al se\u00f1alar que una de las palapas consumidas por el fuego hab\u00eda sido construida durante su administraci\u00f3n, y cuestion\u00f3 la capacidad del gobierno municipal para atender la situaci\u00f3n de seguridad en el puerto.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p3 wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cAs\u00ed tienen a Manzanillo, totalmente incendiado. Si no pueden, deber\u00edan renunciar\u201d, escribi\u00f3, adem\u00e1s de advertir que el ataque a la infraestructura p\u00fablica pareciera ser parte de una intenci\u00f3n por destruir las m\u00e1s de mil 200 obras ejecutadas en su gesti\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p3 wp-block-paragraph\">Por su parte, la Direcci\u00f3n de Protecci\u00f3n Civil y Bomberos de Manzanillo inform\u00f3 que la r\u00e1pida propagaci\u00f3n del fuego alcanz\u00f3 tambi\u00e9n una palapa dentro de la propiedad privada del restaurante Playa Azul, aunque destac\u00f3 que la intervenci\u00f3n oportuna
