Colima, a trav\u00e9s de la Direcci\u00f3n de Ecolog\u00eda y Medio Ambiente, llev\u00f3 a cabo una jornada de reforestaci\u00f3n en el Jard\u00edn de las Am\u00e9ricas, de la colonia Oriental, donde se plantaron 80 \u00e1rboles de distintas especies como parte del programa municipal &#8220;Reforestando Por Ti&#8221;, cuyo objetivo es ampliar las \u00e1reas arboladas de la ciudad y contribuir a reducir las islas de calor en la capital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En la actividad participaron personal de la Direcci\u00f3n de Ecolog\u00eda y Medio Ambiente, as\u00ed como estudiantes y personal de la Universidad de Colima (UdeC), instituci\u00f3n que se sum\u00f3 a esta jornada en el marco de la colaboraci\u00f3n interinstitucional que el Ayuntamiento impulsa con distintos sectores de la comunidad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nirvana Lizette Rocha Jim\u00e9nez, directora de Ecolog\u00eda y Medio Ambiente del Ayuntamiento de Colima, acudi\u00f3 en representaci\u00f3n del alcalde Riult Rivera Guti\u00e9rrez y destac\u00f3 que aumentar la cobertura de arbolado en zonas urbanas contribuye a disminuir las islas de calor y a favorecer espacios p\u00fablicos m\u00e1s saludables para las y los colimenses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La servidora municipal explic\u00f3 que \u201cReforestando Por Ti\u201d es una iniciativa del Ayuntamiento de Colima para colaborar con instituciones educativas, organizaciones y ciudadan\u00eda en una agenda ecol\u00f3gica m\u00e1s verde.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Por su parte, Blanca Liliana D\u00edaz V\u00e1zquez, presidenta del Voluntariado Universitario de la UdeC, se\u00f1al\u00f3 que este tipo de actividades reflejan la importancia de sumar capacidades entre instituciones para atender las necesidades de la comunidad, e invit\u00f3 a las y los estudiantes a asumir la reforestaci\u00f3n no solo como una actividad puntual, sino como una responsabilidad que incluye el cuidado posterior de los \u00e1rboles y la conservaci\u00f3n del entorno.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Con estas acciones, el Ayuntamiento de Colima reitera su compromiso con el cuidado del medio ambiente y hace un llamado a la ciudadan\u00eda a sumarse a las pr\u00f3ximas jornadas de &#8220;Reforestando Por ti\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image
